New standard set for mobile phones

Good news for all you truckies out there. You all use mobile phones. Go on admit it, you would be lost without them. Anyway modern mobiles are to reach a new dimension with the launch of Sony Ericsson’s new range of multimedia mobiles recently.

The three new phones, T68i, P800 and Z700 are going on general sale in Europe and will have colour screens, digital cameras and the latest in multimedia. With Nokia dominating the market at the moment, Sony Ericsson will now push for top spot with their latest model.

The first model to be placed on the market will be the T68i which will offer a digital camera accessory that will enable people to use the handset’s colour screen as a viewfinder to take photographs and send them as attachments to other phone users. No price has been made available yet but it is expected to be priced in the top range of handsets.
