Truck crash victims named

The two men who died in a head-on collision involving a truck and a car near Moate in Co Westmeath on Monday night (5th May) have been named.

The two men have been named as Declan Courtney, 21 of Toorevagh, Ballymore, Co Westmeath, and Hugh Moran, 19, of Tubber, Co Offaly.

The tragic accident happened three miles outside Moate on the Ballymore Road. A woman passenger in the car was also seriously hurt in the collision.
