Digitek CCTV launch groundbreaking vehicle reversing safety systems for the European transport industry.

Major advancement now allow drivers a full colour rear-view image of their vehicle with unrivalled quality, functionality and price.
Until now drivers of heavy goods vehicles have had to reply on a combination of judgement, mirrors or black and white camera systems to reverse their vehicles with any level of confidence. Now with Digitek CCTV’s Reversing System a new level of vehicle safety is achieved.

A small leading edge waterproof camera is situated in the optimum position at the rear of the vehicle, this is connected to a colour 6.8 TFT non-reflective screen in the vehicle cab. The driver can then either manually switch on the system when rear view is required, and has the extra functionality of when the vehicles’ reverse gear is engaged the unit automatically switches on in ‘mirror mode’. This view change to a ‘mirror’ image is exactly what the driver would expect if looking through a rear-view mirror, for example of a domestic car. This automatic safety feature helps to eliminate driver confusion when reversing his vehicle.

The unit benefits from the ability to see clear, quality colour images, even in low light levels, making the system as natural to the drivers eye as possible, allowing colour differential, and thus massively reducing the chance of accidents. Whether minor vehicle knocks or more seriously and potential fatal involving children or adults.

Monochrome reversing systems have previously been applied to wide range of vehicles, including; Refuse Collection, Petrol Tankers, Pick-Up Trucks, Heavy Plant Diggers, Quarry Equipment, in-fact anywhere the driver doesn’t have a clear view when reversing his vehicle.

Now with Digitek CCTV, the added features of a high quality colour image and extra functionally improves the safety levels even further.

Digteck CCTV launch remote monitoring option for its vehicle reversing safety system
The option of the Ozline 4VC adds the extra functionality of remote surveillance of the vehicle that has a camera safety system fitted. This monitoring can be used for instances such as theft, break-ins, insurance claims, and monitoring of hish risk vehicles.

Either through a secondary camera (up to four can be fitted) or the reversing one already fitted, images can be captured to the system in internal RAM (memory) hidden in the vehicle for retrieval at a later date. There is also the option to add a GSM SIM-Card to allow real time alarm activation images over the mobile phone network.
