BPW infomobil hits Ireland
The BPW “infomobiz” (roadshow to you or me!) rolled into town recently as part of the German company’s quest to become the number one trailer axle and suspension supplier to end users here in Ireland. Noel Shine spoke to Eamon McGurren, B.P.W’s Irish sales engineer at Transway Spares Ltd Clondalkin as a training course was in progress inside the aforementioned infomobil.

Aiming to keep up to pace

Bold new livery for Seatruck vessle Riverdance
Seatruck Ferries vessle the mv Riverdance emerged from Cammell Lairds shipyard this week after her scheduled re-fit confidently displaying the company’s striking new livery. The unconventional bold colour scheme has already excited much comment in her homeports of Heysham and Warrenpoint. The bright blue hull and biscuit accommodation section will be replicated on her sister vessle the mv Moondance, which also operates on the Irish sea route.

Commercial Vehicle testing
Filling out forms for vehicle testing has up to now been a necessary but time-consuming chore for test stations nationwide. However, Irish Company, ASC Software, are about to revolutionise the way in which forms for heavy good vehicles are issued and tests conducted, through the introduction of their new Commercial Vehicle Testing (CVT) software package.
