DAFBus Launches “DAF Ayats SB4000 PF”

DAF Distributors Ireland Ltd., and Barton Coach Services launched it’s NEW range of DAF Ayats at the Coach and Bus Show held at the RDS Simmonscourt Pavilion recently.

Now in its second year, this bi-annual event has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2000. Its importance to the industry was clearly reflected in the opening speech of Seamus Brennan TD, Minister for Transport who extended a warm welcome to all exhibitors and visitors.

The key attraction at the DAF stand was the new Ayats Atlantis exuding everything you would expect from a luxury coach of its stature. On display was a DAF Ayats Atlantis 57 seater on a SB 4000 PF chassis. Dimensions comprised 3.670 mm height, 2.550 mm width and 12.000 mm in length with stainless steel side panels and structure. Standard specification included double glazing, climate control, audio and video screens, central locking, pneumatic lockers, reversing camera, and fridge. Optional extras include toilet and ZF automatic gearbox.

New to the DAF Ayats range is the Platinum Midi-Bus 41 seater, 3.360 mm height, 2.500 width and 9.650 mm length. DAF have also included a double-decker to the range, the Ayats Bravo I, dimensions comprise 4.000 mm height, 2.550 mm width and 12.000 mm in length. The Bravo I has seating for up to 78 passengers plus driver and courier. Standard equipment includes double glazing, climate control, audio and video screens.

Also on display was a DAF SB 4000 VanHool Alizee. Dimensions: 12.00 m long, 2.50 m, wide and 3.75 m high with over closed roof vents. Specification included 49 “Labellux” reclining seats with armrests, footrests, double glazed windows, full – drawn side window curtains with moquette trim to luggage racks, seat squabs and backrests.
