Brit European has taken on the new ADR GP tankers, fitted with hydraulic pumps, after winning a new contract with Scott Bader, a leading supplier in the polymer industry. The tankers will be used to transport resin-type products throughout the UK.

Ken Goodwin, Tanker Operations Manager, commented: “We choose Crossland because of their renowned build quality. When we visited the factory we were very impressed. We liked what we saw, so we decided to try Crossland for the first time.”

Brit European, established in 1924, has a head office in Crewe, with a number of locations throughout Europe, including sites in Belgium, France and Germany. The company provides flexible solutions to complex logistical scenarios to chemical and other manufacturing industries.

Operating a fleet of over 300 vehicles, comprising road tankers, car and truck transporters and dedicated contract vehicles, the bulk liquids division currently operate 40 tankers, which transport food and chemicals throughout Europe.

Goodwin added: “Crossland really came up with the goods and so far we have been very satisfied with the two tankers.” The ADR GP tanker comes complete with a fully enclosed handrail, a safety feature on many of Crossland’s ADR tankers. Crossland’s range of ADR tankers are lightweight and designed for ease of use, whilst maximising longevity without compromising operator safety.

Crossland also designs and builds milk, vacuum and food product tankers, with the key focus always on customer requirements and satisfaction.
