Asgard Software Limited’ has launched Asgard Road Express a new product designed specifically for road haulage companies and nationwide transport operators from 1 to 10 users.

Asgard has developed software for Freight Forwarders in Ireland and the UK since 1992 many of which would have transport departments. Asgard Road Express benefits from this experience but leaves aside the additional complexity of air, sea etc that a Freight Operator would have.

“In this market haulage operators are continually getting more sophisticated in their operations and need IT solutions that can support these areas such as electronic job/manifest transfer or timely profit analysis.”

Helen Rahill, Asgard’s Managing Director explained. “Our experience of the haulage and nationwide transport market shows that there are currently limited systems available for operators to choose from and many operators have found the limitations of their current products,” Helen added.

In most instances existing customer details etc can be taken from existing systems. Customers can stick with their current accounts packages or can purchase a fully integrating solution incorporate the award winning ‘Exchequer Software’.

“Our business is no longer about selling software it is about selling ‘Return on Investment’ showing customers how traditional processes can be automated and pointing out where staff hours can be saved and processes improved. We are now going to bring our experience in this to the haulage and nationwide transport market,” Helen concluded.
