Volvo Trucks win prestigious film prize

A film describing Volvo Trucks safety programmes has won first prize in the “Golden Clapperboard” competition, which is held annually to consider and honour the year’s best publicity film productions.

Entitled ‘Nobody builds safer trucks’, the winning entry describes how the company has worked on a long-term basis to make the truck safer for both driver and surrounding traffic. Volvo has historically been a pioneer in the field of safety, and the film takes the viewer on a journey from the world’s first safety cab to the ESP electronic stabilisation system, which was introduced in the new VolvoFH and Volvo FM models last year.
