Crossland Tankers.

The new farm collection tanker features a high speed pumping meter system,
which can take on approximately 850 litres per minute and deliver approximately
1,150 litres per minute - almost double the normal amount.
The tanker also features a low level manway and sample point, eliminating
the need for tank top access when sampling milk or inspecting tank internals
- greatly improving operator safety, along guidelines recently issued
by the Health & Safety Executive.
Mounted on a Scania rear steer chassis, the new tanker complements the
companys current fleet of two tankers, comprising a Massey 22,500 litre
articulated tanker and a 15,000 litre rigid tanker. All three tankers
collect milk from around 100 farms, from Chester to Stafford and deliver
to the Joseph Heler dairy in Nantwich. The milk is then processed into
cheese, cream, milk and whey products, which are then sold to retailers
and industrial ingredient users nationwide.
