Transairvac’s latest discharge package

Transairvac International Ltd, specialises in the supply of equipment and systems for the discharge of product from cement, powder, liquid - unique contactless machine-animal feed and vacuum tankers. Customers include most major tanker manufacturers and leading fleet operators.

In the UK and Ireland the company is the agent for Betico reciprocating compressors and has developed, in association with Betico and leading engine designers and manufacturers Deutz, an acoustically enclosed, diesel driven compressor discharge package for use with cement tanks etc. The package is designed to meet the requirements for Northern European Legislation with regard to noise (85dBa@1m) and exhaust emissions (com 1 plant) compliance. The package has been designed to enhance the Betico/Deutz combination of reliability and strength. The acknowledged strength of the Betico compressor coupled directly by centrifugal clutch to the reliable air-cooled Deutz F4L1011 turbo engine, which runs smoothly at 1800 rpm with low noise levels and returns excellent fuel economy, complying with the stringent noise and Com 1 exhaust emission regulations. Designed with minimal service requirements, the packaged unit requires a single annual service, minimising downtime and maximising operational economy.

Packaged units have been fully proven over the last three years after long term trials with Irish Cement tankers. The units have been continuous use and have shown no problems in operation.
