First Dennison platforms for Ryans Transport

Ryan Transport has taken delivery of the first Dennison platform trailers to go into service with the well-known Cardiff-based haulier.

According to Ryan’s Managing Director, Tony Davies, the order for 10 trailers was placed because of the reputation for high quality of Dennison products and the good working relationship, which the company has developed with the trailer manufacturer. The trailers are being used to haul a variety of steel products including girders and wire reinforcing coil.

“We had seen other operators using them and heard positive comments,” said Tony Davies. “Then we met senior people from Dennison in person and were impressed both by their honesty and by what they had to say about the engineering quality of the trailers and the components, especially the BPW running gear.” Once they had placed the order, Ryan were equally impressed by the service they received. “Dennison kept us informed on progress throughout the purchasing and construction process, and all the trailers went into service on the designated day.”

David added he was “very impressed” with the quality of the trailers and their in-service performance: “They’re excellent trailers. Dennison have done everything right!”
