Benton Bros completes all-Dennison fleet with 34 new trailers

Lincolnshire based haulier Benton Bros (Transport) Ltd, has ordered 34 new trailers from Dennison, bringing the company’s all-Dennison fleet up to 200.

Benton Bros has taken delivery of 30 new sliding skeletals and four curtainsiders. The trailers were ordered to fulfil a new contract and to upgrade existing trailers as part of Benton’s fleet replacement programme.
The new curtainsiders are to be used for an ongoing contract with a leading Norwegian paper manufacturer and the sliding skeletals will be used for short, mid and deep sea container transportation. The trailers will be used for national contracts and split between Benton Bros’ two sites at Sibsey and Immingham.

“Our entire fleet is made up of the complete range of Dennison trailers,” said Martin Benton, managing director of Benton Bros. “We have been very pleased with the performance of our existing Dennison trailers and based on this, we were delighted to order these 34 new trailers from them. The quality of the build and after sales service is exceptional.”
Dennison also manufacture tippers, flats, trombones and machinery carriers. They are based in Lancaster in the UK and Naas in Ireland.
