Murphy Motors Mitsubishi dealers was opened in Barraduff on the main Mallow to Dublin road back in June, 1995, but they are not newcomers to the industry as the business started many years before in a small garage close to the village. Mike decided to branch out and enhance the businesses reputation, with the Mitsubishi franchise being secured at the same time as the move.
Since establishing the business at their new premises, Murphy Motors stock a full range of all Mitsubishi models for outright purchase and finance can also be arranged by their Sales Department, who offer a wide range of packages.
“We have seen many changes over the years, but since we moved to Barraduff, we have never looked back and continue to grow and expand every year,” said Mike.

“We were delighted to win the award, which comes from customers being contacted by Mitsubishi and asked what they thought of the service we provide.
“Obviously, all our customers are happy with our service and that is the most important aspect of this business – customer satisfaction. Our customer base has been the same for many years, although the list seems top be growing, but the fact that many people return, means we are doing something right,” added Mike.
They also have an extensive range of used vehicles in stock. All are guaranteed to be of a high standard and are fully serviced before purchase, while the vehicles are also D.O.E tested before they leave the premises.
Customers can be guaranteed to be met with a friendly, relaxing atmosphere at Murphy Motors, and they will be looked after by an experienced and dedicated team, so whether you are buying or servicing your vehicle your visit to Kerry’s main Mitsubishi dealer will be a pleasant experience.

Mitsubishi owners receive free home or roadside motor assistance in Ireland and throughout Europe for the past two years through the Mitsubishi Assistance Package (MAP).
All Mitsubishi vehicles registered since January 1st 2004 are automatically covered by this unlimited mileage motor assistance service.

Home or roadside assistance is provided in all instances with recovery to the nearest Mitsubishi Dealer if the vehicle is not immediately repairable. If the vehicle cannot be repaired on the same day, Mitsubishi owners can avail of one of the following options: Transport home if the owner is less than 50km from home or accommodation for a maximum of four nights, if the owner is more than 50km from home; If the owner is less than 50km from home a replacement car for two working days will be provided. If the owner is more than 50km from home a replacement car will be provided for up to five working days.
Mike revealed that one of the best sellers in 2005 and for the first few months of this year has been the Mitsubishi Grandis which comes in two engine sizes; 2.4 petrol and 2 litre diesel.

The Mitsubishi Grandis is the first MPV that customers will buy because they want to, rather than because they have to. A fine and fluent grand tourer offers a very rewarding driving experience for driver and passengers alike. This comes from the quality of appointments, the sense of protection given by the high waistline and the comfort of the seats. The Grandis will also add some smartness to the MPV game, thanks to its innovative and unique Hide & SeatTM third row of seats that easily creates extra luggage capacity without the hassle of removing, carrying or storing heavy seats.
“The seven-seater diesel grandis went very well for us. A new L200 crew cab will be launched in the coming months and we are looking forward to that,” he said.

Murphy Motors continue to offer an excellent service to their customers and with plenty of new and second hand vehicles in stock in the showroom and their compound directly across the road from the main offices, customers can be guaranteed to find what their looking for at Kerry’s main Mitsubishi dealer.
