Tyre-Check launches in European at Reifen ‘06 with great success

Tyre-Check ‘has had its European launch at Reifen ‘06 with enormous success. Demonstrations of the solution were being provided by the Tyre-Check team with over 250 demonstrations begin recorded in the 4 days. Tyre dealers from as far away as Brazil and Australia were involved in the demonstrations.

Tyre-Check introduces the first One-Click probe onto the market. The main focus throughout the development of Tyre-Check was its ease of use. The team at Tyre-Check have many years of experience with the development of solutions in both the semi-conductor and aviation industries. They are now leveraging this experience to bring to market the most cost and time effective solution for the management of commercial tyres. The One-Click probe allows the user to collect information for each tyre on a vehicle without the need to constantly revert back to the PDA. The introduction of the One-Click solution means that it is now faster to use the probe than the traditional paper on Dictaphone methods of tyre inspection.

The Tyre-Check solution takes tyre management to the next level. It provides the tools required by the Tyre Inspector to rapidly collect data about each individual tyre using a combination of an electronic probe and a PDA. All data which is collected via the probe is stored on a ruggedised PDA. All information collected can be accessed via the Tyre-Check website.
The Tyre-Check solution can enforce fleet policies which are created on-line and can control such things as the number of tread readings taken per tyre, the recommended air pressure for each axle on the fleet and more specific rules about twinning tyres etc.

Tyre-Check is now being used by customers in Ireland and several other European countries. These customers include Tyre Manufacturer’s, Tyre Dealers and Fleet Owners.
