Stonehall Stunty ... the smarter choice
The Stonehall Shunty, a truck mounted forklift developed and built by
Stonehall Engineering of Shannon, Co. Clare is a relative newcomer to
the Irish & UK markets but it has been making a big impression in
the industry since its arrival.
The three-wheel Shunty, developed over six years, is equipped with a telescopic
boom with a self levelling head and features an all-wheel drive hydrostatic
transmission with traction control. The Shunty is available in
several models, with capacities up to 3 tonne, full-free lift to 3.76m,
a forward reach to 1.87m, and a 200mm sideshift. Options are available
such as glazed canopy and auxiliary hydraulics at the head, to name but
two. Major selling points are the forklift's ability to unload
a truck or trailer from only one side, together with lower maintenance
and excellent forward visibility resulting from its telescopic design.
The Stonehall Shunty truck-mounted forklift with telescopic boom
can be seen at the CV Show 2006, stand 5169, at the NEC in Birmingham
from April 25 to 27. For further information or to arrange a demo, telephone
