Flagship National Truck Show

Gabriel Moloney, Kevin Mulqueen and Eric McNamara from AMP Event Promoters organised their successful Flagship National Truck Show which was held at the Showground’s, Drumbiggle road, Ennis, Co Clare on the October bank holiday weekend 2007, the first in the county.

The truck show would not have been possible without the help and support of their sponsors, vendors, traders and the public and of course the hauliers. No event such as this could be possible without the truckers or hauliers and in Ennis they were very lucky to have people that were co-operative and helpful and of course great craic.

Over the two days in October there were other attractions on site to keep the crowds entertained. The drift display by Top Fuel Imports was an event that delighted many, as was the mini digger challenge which some found difficult, no names mentioned!
After the success of last years truck show AMP have organised a bigger and better show for 2008 and have moved to a bigger venue. The 2008 National Truck Show will take place in the Clare Marts, Quinn Road, Ennis, Co. Clare over the same October Bank Holiday weekend. The ground there are fully tarmac with plenty of space for each truck to be displayed. To ensure all trucks are looking their best there will be a free onsite truck wash facility and to keep the drivers entertained and looking their best there will be shower facilities and entertainment on site through the weekend. Ladies of Ennis watch out!

To keep the truckers and public fed and watered the onsite restaurant in the Clare marts which feeds hundreds of people each week will be open during the weekend serving breakfast lunch and dinner.
As well as the trucks being on display there will be other attractions and activities throughout the weekend to keep the crowds entertained.

These activities and attractions are not to be missed and AMP will keep the suspense ongoing right up until the show day. It is vital that you mark these dates in your calendar now, Sunday 26th and Monday 27th of October.
