Elderly pedestrian killed by truck

A 92-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a truck, while crossing the road in south Dublin.

The fatal accident happened on Pembroke Road at about 10.00am yesterday. The victim was pronounced dead at St Vincent’s Hospital. His named has not yet been released.
The truck driver was treated for shock
