Gardai appeal for witnesses to hit-and-run

Gardai in County Westmeath have appealed for witnesses to a hit-and-run accident in Moate last night, November 6th.
A man in his 20's received serious injuries when he was struck by a vehicle, believed to be an articulated lorry. The vehicle failed to remain at the scene.

The injured man was brought to Tullamore General Hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
The accident happened on the Dublin road outside Moate at around 9.30pm.
