NI companies trading illegally
Northern Ireland's Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) has claimed that
some small firms are trading illegally because they can't afford spiralling
insurance premiums.
The employers' lobby group says that many companies are trading without
employers' liability insurance, even though it is against the law.
The FSB claims that some companies are being asked to pay 10 times the
amount they were charged just three years ago.
The group will publish a survey soon highlighting the impact spiralling
insurance premiums id having on small businesses in the North.
