Man killed in Arklow smash

The number of deaths on our roads remains a startling reality and, unfortunately, the grim figures continue to rise unabated.

The latest victim of the carnage was a man near Arlow yesterday evening (Monday June 9th).
The man died at the scene of the accident following a two-vehicle collision on the N11 between Arklow and Gorey.

The accident happened at 4.15 in the evening at Scarnagh (near Inch) and involved a lorry and a car.
One other person was removed to hospital.

Two others lost their lives in separate accidents in Edgeworthstown and Moate on Sunday night (8th June).
