Proposed super truck ban is scaremongering - Morrissey

The Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) has accused the Department of Transport of “scaremongering” over its proposed ban on super trucks.

IRHA president Eamonn Morrissey said the proposal was totally over the top, while communications director Jimmy Quinn said hauliers who had invested in super cube trailers would be seeking compensation from the Government, if the ban was imposed.
