| Minister wants Dublin
traffic management plan Trucks that wont fit into Dublin Port Tunnel will have to be traffic managed through the city, according to Junior Minister at the Department of Transport, Ivor Callely. Speaking exclusively to www.irishtrucker.com Callely said a traffic management plan would have to be put in place to facilitate oversize trucks and those carrying abnormal loads. We have asked Dublin City Council to look at a HGV management plan for the Capital. Firstly we are going to have to decide which categories of vehicles we will allow to use the tunnel. There are going to be abnormal loads, vehicles transporters and super cube trailers, which we will have to manage and accommodate. A traffic management plan is being worked out to achieve that, he revealed.
