Gabriel publishes its new commercial vehicle shock absorber catalogue

ArvinMeritor have recently launched the new 2004/2005 Gabriel CV shock absorber catalogue which includes 63 new parts and applications for Iveco Stralis, Scania 4 cabin, Mercedes Atego, SAF, SMB, Trouillet, Hendrickson and Ponticelli.

As a major supplier to the OE commercial vehicle shock absorber market, ArvinMeritor is the preferred partner of many CV manufacturers. The Group manufacture and markets a wide range of Gabriel shock absorbers for trucks, tractors, trailers/axles, cabs, buses and coaches, as well as specialist applications including agricultural and building machinery.

The strong OE market presence allows Gabriel to offer the aftermarket (both OE Spares and independent) a range of 559 parts covering a total of 8,136 applications. The Gabriel shock absorbers for the trailer and axle sector is the most comprehensive range available, with 102 parts.

As well as detailed applications listings, the new catalogue includes shock absorber dimensions (compressed & extended) and a list of vehicle applications by part.

To make shock absorber identification easier Gabriel provides additional information in the catalogue, including number of axles, position of the drive axles by vehicle type, engine type, weight and a detailed explanation of each manufacturer's abbreviation for vehicle models.
