Trailer sales set to soar

Trailer sales across Europe are on the up, following three years in the doldrums, according to automotive industry consultant Clear.

Following a general decline in the European trailer market since 2000, all the economic indicators suggest that production will top 175,000 per annum by 2008.

The prospect of a booming trailer market will be music to the ears of the brake, axle, suspension, tyre and wheel manufacturers.
