Hell's Kitchen winner snubs truck show

The Irish Commercial Vehicle Show has been branded a complete success, despite the non-appearance Hell's Kitchen winner Jennifer Ellison.

The two day event, which was held at the Punchestown Event Centre over the weekend was heralded as a huge success by promoter Andrew Short of AJS Promotions, despite the "no show' from Ellison who had been booked to make an appearance on Sunday June 20th.

Short confirmed the former Brookside star had been booked to make an appearance. "Jennifer had been booked to appear for the last month. We had it confirmed on Saturday and everything seemed to be set up perfectly."

"We don't know what happened. We tried to contact her manager all day but he was unreachable. It is a pity because we were all looking forward to seeing her."

AJS Promotions had initially booked Tina O'Brien who plays Sarah in Coronation Street, but was told Ms Ellison would be a bigger attraction following her success in Gordon Ramsay's celebrity chef show.
