Cargoliner makes a come back with Iveco
Iveco's ready-to-go range of Eurocargo bodies vehicles will now be supplied
through Boalloy Industries Ltd.
The range of 7.5t Eurocargos, available with either a box, curtainside
or dropside body, will be re-branded CargoLiner, reuniting Iveco's relationship
with Boalloy at this weight range.
As with the previous CargoPlus scheme, this new package is designed exclusively
for operators looking to purchase a new vehicle and have it fully bodies
and on the road almost immediately.
This means an operator will be able to walk into any of Iveco's participating
CargoLiner dealerships in the UK and order a standard CargoLiner box,
curtainside or dropside body and subject to availability, could be driving
it away within hours. Tipper bodies will continue to be available through
Brit-Tipp.
"Vehicle lead times aren't usually a problem when an operator is
planning to replace a vehicle at the end of its life, but when a new contract
comes in and the work starts almost immediately, a six week wait for a
new vehicle is of no help whatsoever," explains Giancarlo Fulchieri,
Director of Iveco's Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle Business Unit.
"Our ready-to-go range as already proved to be very popular since
its launch three years ago, and we hope our new partnership with Boalloy
and the reintroduction of the famous CargoLiner brand will continue this
upward trend," he adds.
Each of the three different Boalloy body types are available at 7.5 tonnes,
with a body length of 20ft.
