Readymix unveil H1 figures

Concrete products manufacturer Readymix returned a pre-tax profit of E27.64 million for the first six months of the year, a marked increase on the E10.9 recorded in the same period in 2004.

However, the profits were boosted by the sale of a property in Northern Ireland for more than E20 million.
Trading profit for the period slumped by 23 per cent during the period.
