IRHA makes truck height submission to Department of
Transport
The Irish Road Haulage Association (IRHA) has made a submission to Junior
Minister of Transport, Ivor Callely, on the establishment of a maximum
height limit for trucks.
In an exclusive interview in the January / February edition of Irish Trucker
Callely revealed that he had no pre-conceived ideas on the maximum height
issue and would seek submissions from all stakeholders.
It is understood a number of individual hauliers that could be directly
affected by the introduction of a maximum height restriction have made
independent submissions to the Department.
The Department is expected to publish its findings next month.
