Eircom Connects with Ford

Telcommunications company, Eircom has purchased 100 short-wheel- base Transit Connects from Ford.

The deal represents the single biggest Irish order for the 2003 International Van of the Year.

Eicom’s head of transport Pat Loughlin commented: “Following a tendering process involving the leading manufacturers of commercial vehciles, the Ford Transit Connect proved to be the most suitable all round vehicle to meet our needs. I am pleased therefore, to extend our long-term relationship with Ford.”
