A former national tyre sales manager has been found not guilty of conspiring
to defraud An Garda Siochana, by a jury at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court.
Ben Meehan, 47 of Bettyglen, Raheny, a former national tyre sales manager
with Advance Tyres had denied conspiring with colleague Michael Queenan
and Sgt Ronan Dunne to falsify figures so that Advance Tyres would hold
on to a lucrative Garda contract.
