Mandata launches new Working Time Directive Compliance Software at unbeatable price

In readiness for the new Road Transport Working Time Regulations (due to come into force on 23rd March 2005), Mandata, based in North Shields, has launched a new software product that will help hauliers adhere to the rules of the latest directive. What's more, Mandata a WTD software is priced at only 75p per driver, which is currently the lowest price in the market for this type of recording system.

The Mandata WTD recording system collects all of the relevant information relating to working, driving breaks and other key information. It provides feedback to the driver on the hours he has worked by day and also by week. It also provides alerts to office personnel on any infringements, the number of hours remaining and the overall total hours worked through any given period.

The software runs on a web server which has the advantage that a variety of remote users can input and access data from the system. Drivers use their PDAs as input devices to record details of their activities; this information is then used to update the drivers records held on the main web-based system. Office-based personnel can access the web-based system to enter data, make corrections and record holidays.

At the press of a button the system can generate a series of reports summarising the activities of a group of workers, with drill down functionality enabling further analysis of the activities on a weekly or daily basis.

A simple internet connection is all that is required to run the Mandata WTD system. Drivers ideally should have PDAs, although some mobile phones would also accommodate the system requirements.

Mandata's WTD software can work as a stand-alone system or in conjunction with the suite of Manpack Logistics software products.
