Vito scoops another award

The Mercedes Vito has scooped the prestigious CEP Van of the Year Award, while its big brother, the Sprinter has been honoured in the up to 3.5 tonne category.

A 25-strong panel of experts from the courier and express package sector examined 19 typical delivery vans for handling characteristics, comfort, practicality and design.

The Vito and the Sprinter also scored well on practical load securing aids, and their standard electronic suspension stability programme to clinch the double success.

The Vito was also awarded the International Van of the Year and the Irish Van of the Year for 2005.
