Trucks involved in separate fatal accidents

Three people have been killed in two separate road traffic accidents that occurred in Cork and Dublin in the early hours of this Thursday morning (6th April).

A man has been arrested in connection with an accident in Co. Galway that resulted in the death of two women, believed to be mother and daughter.
The accident happened around 6am on the Cloonacauneen road just outside Galway City. The women died after the car they were travelling in was struck by a trailer that had become detached from a lorry.

Meanwhile, there was also been an accident just outside Charleville, Co. Cork. A man, who was driving his car died after he collided with a lorry at around 5am.
