Truck crashes through gable-end of house

A lorry driver was in a serious condition in hospital after the truck he was driving crashed into the gable-end of a house in Co. Down .

The bungalow on the Lurgan Road, Moira was without electricity and heating after the accident, which happened at 11.30am on Thursday (April 6th).
The driver was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital, but was later transferred to the Royal Victoria Hospital where he is said to be in a critical condition.

Police are investigating as to how the accident may have occurred. No other vehicle was involved and it is alleged that the drive may have become ill just before the accident.
