Forklift accident results in man’s death

An accident in Co Wexford on Saturday (April 22nd) resulted in the death of a man after he was crushed by a forklift at his workplace.

The man has crushed between the forks of the vehicle and shelving at Harte Design, Butlerstown Industrial Park in New Ross.
The Health and Safety Authority have closed the premises down while the investigation takes places, while the Gardai have yet to release the name of the deceased.
