Transwaste expand fleet with Heil front end loader
Transwaste Recycling and Aggregrates Limited have recently introduced
a Heil Front End Loader to their fleet. The new FEL is the first refuse
collection vehicle and plans are already in place to expand the waste
collection fleet sector further.
Transwaste are situated at Hessle Dock, four miles west of Hull City Centre
and have been established for six years. Transwaste stock a wide range
of both primary and recycled aggregates, rockery stone, railway sleepers
and bagged or loose rock salt. With an extensive haulage fleet, Transwaste
are able to deliver, as well as being able to remove any redundant material.
The new FEL will be used for the collection of commerical and domestic
material for local authorities and businesses throughout Hull and the
surrounding area.
Paul Hornshaw, Director of Transwaste comments: "The service has
been excellent. Londonderry Garage and Heil have really looked after us
and we are extremely pleased with our new FEL. We have plans in place
to move to a new 15 acre site and we are looking forward to expanding
our RCV fleet further."
The Heil Front End Loader provides its operators with a robust and efficient
vehicle that has the ability to lift up to 3630 kilograms, giving it the
best possible bin capacity lifting arms. The programmable logic control
offers simplified handling, reliable operation and system condition monitoring.
In addition the user can get operational information from text display
inside the cabin.
The new FEL has been specified with lifting arms to life 1100 tonne wheelie
bins.
Maintenance of the new FEL will be carried out by Londonderry Garage the
Heil Europe distributor in the North of England.
