Fine Gael attempt to increase penalty points for commercial firms

Fine Gael has tabled a change to the Road Traffic Bill in an effort to clamp down on commercial companies who use vehicles through residential parts of the city.

The change would double the penalty points for unnecessarily driving a commercial vehicle through residential areas from two to four.
