Cardiff is first TLS branch to benefit from refurbishment programme

                                   
The Cardiff branch of TLS Vehicle Rental has become the first to benefit from a refurbishment programme that will include a number of the company s branches across the country.

The East Tynall Street branch has been transformed. Inside, walls have been knocked down to create an open plan office, allowing staff to greet customers as they arrive. Outside, new signs and mirrored windows give the building a more contemporary look.

An office for the branch s maintenance team has been created, while a second room is a customer meeting area and a third has become a tea room where customers can relax while their vehicle is being serviced, a new service recently introduced.

The Cardiff workshops have also been overhauled as more maintenance work has been brought back in-house to allow a greater degree of flexibility instead of relying on franchise dealers. This has allowed the while-you-wait servicing option to be offered.

Sean Welham, marketing director at TLS, explained: "Over the last couple of years, we have been methodically improving key aspects of our business. We are now in a position where our service and our product offerings have been thoroughly rethought and are now among the best on the market.

Having reached this point, we are now focusing more on the presentation of TLS and it is the turn of the appearance of our branches to be overhauled. Customers clearly want to do business in pleasant surroundings and we will be gradually looking at our sites and making improvements where we feel they are necessary.
