Change for tyre regulations

New regulations are set to be introduced after the European Union gave the go ahead for the changes on all vehicles including light commercials and HGVs.

The new regulations will set down limit values for rolling resistance and tyre noise, while they will also include the minimum value for wet grip.

Any tyres produced will have to be in line with the first of the rules that will be introduced by November 1st 2012, while a year later all new types of vehicles must comply with the regulations.
