Michelin’s UK Services and Solutions division is the latest high-profile company to ‘transition’ to the use of an electric vehicles fleet, after taking delivery of 17 Vauxhall Combo as part of plans to move its 54-strong fleet to electric by 2026.

Viewed as ‘an important milestone that aligns with Michelin’s environmental ethos as it strives to reduce CO2 emissions’, the EVs are powered by a 50kWh 18-module battery, and equipped with fleet management technologies that includes forward and rear-facing cameras.

They will be used by low-mileage ‘city driver’ tyre technicians doing multiple site visits daily.
