In conjunction with David Clegg Signs & Embroidery, Full of the Pipe is launching a brand-new range of exclusive official merchandise for the 2025 edition of Ireland’s premier truck show. The merch’ has been given a new lease of life, with quality, comfort and value to match.

No stone is ever left unturned to make sure that Full of the Pipe consistently delivers the best experience right across the board. When it comes to official event merchandise, the partnership with David Clegg Signs & Embroidery has resulted in high-quality gear that turns heads and goes down a storm every year.

To coincide with Full of the Pipe Convoy 25, Jennifer Clegg and her brilliant team are giving the range a fresh makeover … and true to form the new merch’ looks absolutely fantastic. “We’re doing a full new range of merch’ in all adults’ and kids’ sizes,” Jennifer confirms.

“In response to demand, we’re going to go right up to size 5XL, or mansize as some say, and the range will include everything from baseball hats to beanies, polos, sleeveless gilets / body warmers, softshell jackets, new hoodies, gear bags, towels, tee-shirts, etc.”

The comprehensive range of striking Full of the Pipe merchandise will all be available in kids’ and adults’ sizes. The clothing is two-tone, in black and red, with the embroidered FOTP logo offering an exclusivity to identify with the show itself. While the merch’ for past shows was already wonderful, it’s fair to say that David Clegg Signs & Embroidery have now taken things to the next level…

“It’s the same logo as before but I’ve given it a new design,” says Jennifer, who has accumulated a wealth of experience and expertise in designing and producing clothing with customised embroidery over the past decade or so. “We were doing the same range for a couple of years and I just felt it was time to change it up a bit.

“It’s all systems go with the new stuff and it’s exciting to be doing something different this year. Extra time and effort goes into it obviously but it’s worth it as it helps to create a new look for the show.”

The Full of the Pipe crew themselves are getting customised gear with the Trucking for Cancer logo included, while Cleggs are also producing some exclusive Trucking for Cancer merch’ for their small crew.

For the official Full of the Pipe merch’, it’s great that kids are being catered for as it’s a family weekend and kids always want to get some tops but they’re not always available at many events: “Usually, you can’t get customised kids’ polos or tops, they are always generic or people have to buy them small adult stuff that won’t fit properly. But we’re doing a full range of kids’ stuff from age 1-2 up to 13, so it’s all covered and the kids’ gear is going to be the same quality as the adult clothing.”

Quality is a given, of course, and David Clegg Signs & Embroidery are in huge demand with events and businesses alike due to their uncanny ability to deliver bespoke workwear with customised embroidery with logos or pictures of trucks, cars or machines embroidered into the clothing, jackets, hoodies, etc., front or back. Every piece is exclusive, hardwearing, and looks truly fabulous.

Throw in value for money and it really is a no-brainer! “All the stuff will be affordable,” Jennifer confirms. “And that’s important in today’s economic climate. We’ll be doing kids’ polos for €15 and adult polos for €20 and extending that excellent value right across the entire range. It’s all good quality material with lots of wear and it’s all attractive and bespoke.”

It’s quite remarkable how the prices are kept down considering the sheer volume of work that goes into each individual item. “When you are embroidering on the Full of the Pipe logo, there are 47,000 stitches in it and each logo takes about 45 minutes on the machine,” Jennifer explains.

Unlike with cheap screen-printed t-shirts or jerseys, the logo is actually embroidered directly into the clothing and becomes part of it and can’t be damaged or removed or faded due to wear and tear or whilst washing or ironing. “That’s the real novelty with embroidered gear – it’s hard-wearing, durable and looks well, too.”

Little wonder David Clegg Signs & Embroidery’s services are in such big demand. In the run-up to Full of the Pipe, they also produced lines of official merchandise for Cowboys and Highwaymen in Leitrim in early May as well as the Waterford Truck Show the following weekend – all embroidered merch’.

It was in 2022 that David Clegg Signs & Embroidery put their stamp forever on Full of Pipe when they were enlisted to design an eye-catching and professional new event logo as well as developing a classy range of official Full of the Pipe merchandise.

A model family-run enterprise backed by over three decades of experience and renowned for quality and customer care, David Clegg Signs & Embroidery use state of the art technology to consistently achieve the highest standard in signage, embroidery and customer service.

The level of care and attention to detail that David, Jennifer and the entire team at David Clegg Signs & Embroidery invest into every garment has led to the business earning an unrivalled, industry-leading reputation as the custom embroidery and workwear specialist of choice not just in the midlands but nationwide.

Skilled and experienced personnel use the most advanced machinery and technology as well as the finest materials and garments to guarantee outstanding results every time, resulting in strong demand for all products and services, with growth driven by repeat business and positive referrals.

“Our relationship with Full of the Pipe has gone really well,” Jennifer notes. “The lads have given me free rein with the merch’ and it has taken off since they brought me in initially to design their new logo and produce the first run of merchandise.

“The business is going well and I have invested in a new embroidery machine – a four-head one – taking the machine count up to twelve. Before doing this, out main work would have been signage but I told my dad when I joined ten years ago that I wanted to do embroidery and he supported me in that. I’m self-taught but knew this was something I wanted to do,” reveals Jennifer, who will be bringing a machine to the Full of the Pipe show so that guests can avail of a full customisation service on all their merchandise if required.

For those who can’t make it to FOTP 2025, the new-look merchandise can be ordered via Facebook or the David Clegg Signs & Embroidery website, and customised as required. “We’ll be at Mondello again for the weekend and it’s going to be brilliant,” Jennifer enthuses. “The lads are great and we’re all like family at this stage. Full of the Pipe is always brilliant and it’s an honour to be part of it.”

Full of the Pipe Truck Show Ireland is on July 12 & 13 in Mondello Park
